Arriving by car
From Hamburg: Highway A24 towards Berlin, take exit Schwarzenbek/Grande, turn right onto the 404 (follow signs Schwarzenbek/Lauenburg/ B 404), then follow signs to Basthorst. In the village Basthorst drive along the main road until you reach the church. The estate Gut Basthorst lies behind it.
Arriving by public transportation
From the bus station Basthorst Dorfstraße take the bus 8889-AST to Trittau. From Trittau take the bus 369 to Ahrensburg and then onwards with bus R10 to Hamburg main station. Alternatively take the bus to Schwarzenbek and then with the train to Hamburg main station.
