The new Explorer Hotels are now available in 8 TOP Alpine regions: Oberstdorf, Neuschwanstein, Berchtesgaden, Montafon, Kitzbühel, Zillertal, Hinterstoder and Ötztal. They do not only convince with a fantastic mountain view, but above all their sustainability concept makes them unique! As the first certified passive house hotels in Europe, Design-Budget Hotels are 100% climate-neutral. However, the Explorer Hotels do not save on comfort or facilities: each hotel is equipped with 100 design rooms, two bright meeting rooms, free Wi-Fi and comprehensive conference technology. Those who are greeted at the reception with a warm “you“, should not be surprised, because in the modern Explorer hotels prevails next to highest professionalism and a family atmosphere.
Whether meetings, incentives or seminars, the Explorer Hotels offer the best conditions for any event. The various conference packages or the individual conference offers create optimal conditions for a successful company event. Ski jumping workshops, guided canoe tours, hut evening, barbecue or sports buffet? The possibilities for outdoor team events and evening entertainment are manifold as well as their organization in price inclusive.

Clean lines and cheerful Explorer colors: friendly purple, fresh Explorer green and warm wood tones. The trendy design rooms offer plenty of room to relax on 21 m². In addition to the comfortable double bed, the highlight is the large bench in the panoramic window with comfortable cushions, on which you can relax in a dream for two. The rooms are functionally equipped with plenty of counter space, hooks, shelves and cupboards. There is also a large safe where all valuables can be stored safely. The bathroom is a spacious room with a good living feeling. The oversized shower, the wall-high mirror and the extraordinary, bright color mosaic make a good mood and the walk to the bathroom a pure pleasure.
In the Explorer Hotel you start the day alive. From 7.00 am to 10.30 am, you can make your own breakfast from 70 fresh, high-quality and predominantly regional components.
Tip: Whether scrambled eggs, fried eggs, omelette, breakfast buffet or boiled egg ..., at the egg fry station it says “do it yourself“!
Even if there is no restaurant in the Design-Budget Explorer Hotel, you will not starve and die of thirst! The coffee machine is available during the day for self-service and at the cozy bar you get daily from 16.00 clock:

The region around Hinterstoder impresses in particular by its breathtaking nature. A paradise for hiking, biking and climbing tours. The hotel is located directly at the valley station of the mountain railway of the Hinterstoder-Höss ski area, the second largest ski area in Upper Austria and the highest ski area in the region. In 23 minutes you can reach the toboggan run Alpine Coaster, in 19 minutes you are at the rock high wire garden Hexenkessel. The diversity and beauty of nature are shown, for. B. Hinterstoder Höss reservoir, on Schiederweiher, around the Great Priel or in the nearby National Park Kalkalpen.
