Perfectly situated in the centre of Munich, The Charles Hotel, the latest five-star Rocco Forte Hotel, will open in October 2007 and promises to be the finest hotel in this historic and cosmopolitan Bavarian city. This luxury Munich hotel will be custom built, interior designed with the unique flair of Olga Polizzi, and will have all the hallmarks of a Rocco Forte Hotel: luxurious comfort, excellent levels of service, up-to-date corporate facilities and a top quality health club.
The Charles Hotel's location in the heart of Munich, close to the historic square of Königsplatz, the old town and the superb shopping area, will suit both business and leisure guests staying in Munich, yet its situation in the Botanischer Garten (Botanical Gardens) will mean peace and tranquillity away from the city's bustle.
Location
With its picturesque Bavarian old town, array of museums, vibrant arts scene and famous Oktoberfest, Munich is one of the most exciting and varied cities in Europe. Set in the tranquil Botanical gardens in the Stachus district, the hotel will be only a short walk or metro ride from all this, as well as being just half an hour from Munich's Franz-Josef-Strauss Airport and close to the central train station.
Corporate guests will value the peace and quiet as well as the accessibility of Munich's business centre, and leisure guests will enjoy being able to stroll to the Fussgängerzone (pedestrian zone) and discover Maximilianstrasse, Residenzstrasse, and Theatinerstrasse, which equal any of the most elegant shopping streets in Europe.

All 132 guest rooms will be spacious at 40 sqm, with views over the Botanical Gardens, and have every comfort to ensure your stay in Munich is relaxing and enjoyable. Each will have a character of its own, be decorated in a fresh contemporary style chosen to blend with the history of this Bavarian city, and will include all the touches you would expect from a five-star Rocco Forte Hotel: digital TV (internet, movies, music), fax/modem line, personal voicemail, as well as secure high-speed Internet access.
Nine junior suites will provide even more spacious accommodation at 50 sqm, and there will be 18 Master Suites at 70 sqm, ideal for those wanting a really luxurious experience in Munich.
