In our restaurant L’ Ambiance (in summer) or in La Bonne Fourchette (in winter) with its crackling fire, you can enjoy fine cuisine either à la carte or as part of our half-board package. And if the weather is fine, we recommend you dine on our sun terrace with its stunning view of the River Aare and the surrounding mountain landscape.

In the evenings you can unwind after a memorable day with a glass of wine or a creative cocktail and taking part in stimulating conversations in our stylish and cosy Le Vieux Rivage bar.

You really are spoilt for choice at Lindner Hotel Interlaken Beau Rivage: you can either open the curtains of your room to a spectacular Alpine view, or be woken by the soft sound of the deep-green icy-cold water of the River Aare and gaze upon Interlaken’s landmark mountain, the Harder Kulm.

The hotel has 101 rooms, some of which have a balcony or loggia. We offer guests 87 rooms of three different categories, nine junior suites and four exclusive suites: the Royal Suite, the Pyramid Suite, the Grande Dame Suite and the Terrace Suite.

You find 12 conference and meeting rooms on 2 floors. The heart of the hotel is the banquet hall ´La Belle Epoque´ for up to 350 guests. All rooms have daylight and modern conference technique.

Location & Directions:

Nestled between three of Switzerland’s most famous peaks – Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau – Interlaken is situated in the Bernese Oberland at a height of 568 metres. The Grand Hotel Beau Rivage Interlaken is centrally located beside the river Aare in Interlaken, only a seven-minute walk from the city centre and three minutes from Interlaken OST railway station. Interlaken has excellent rail connections to the airports in Bern, Zurich and Geneva and is easy to reach from all the major Swiss motorways. Hotel guests can park in one of the hotel’s 40 free outdoor parking spaces or purchase a parking ticket for CHF 10.00, which allows parking in many of Interlaken’s public car parks for 24 hours.

Interlaken is easily accessible by train. Take the train until Interlaken OST. We will be pleased to pick you up at the station.

From Zurich:
Take the A1 to Bern.
Once in Bern, change onto the A6/A8 towards Interlaken.
Exit at Interlaken Ost, and when you reach the second roundabout, take the first turnoff.
After 200 m, turn left at the station, and after 100 m you will see the hotel on your right.

From Geneva:
Take the A1 towards Lausanne and then towards Bern.
Once in Bern, change onto the A6/A8 towards Interlaken.
Exit at Interlaken Ost and when you reach the second roundabout, take the first turnoff.
After 200 m turn left at the station, and after 100 m you will see the hotel on your right.

From Luzern:
Take the A2 towards Interlaken via the Brünig pass at 1008 metres a. s. l. (Or alternatively, take the route via Bern, taking the A2/A1 to Bern and changing onto the A6/A8 towards Interlaken).
Continue along the A8 towards Interlaken.
Exit at Interlaken Ost and when you reach the second roundabout, take the first turnoff.
After 200 m, turn left at the station, and after 100 m you will see the hotel on your right.
